Dear Friends,
Here we are well into 2010! It's been quite a year already with what seemed an unending snow storm from the first part of December into the middle of January. The weather has cleared and the snow is gone except for some places where the snowdrifts were very deep. The warm weather makes us think of spring and all the possibilities that the change of season brings, however, we still have lots of winter left!
On our hearts this month is the need for us as a ministry and those of us as Christians to reach out to the people around us. We all come in contact daily with people who are hurting and need encouragement and a word from the Lord. We are His hands and feet. We are His vessels by which His Word is done. We are all ministers of His Word.
We are here to help meet the needs of people 365 days a year. It's what we do and it's who we are. Our faclities are always open and we are always eager to serve our guests in any way we can. If you are in the area, please consider making Living Water Ranch part of your travel plans. Perhaps your business, church or you personally need a place to host a meeting or event. We are here prepared and ready to assist you.
Our prayer is that the Lord will continue to bless each of you this month with good health, prosperity, restoration where needed and abundance in every area of your life. We pray for you and want to encourage each of you to remember that you are valuable and precious in the Lord's eyes. He created you for His purpose!
~ Alan and Donna
Excellence in ministry is the result of caring more about souls than others may think is necessary. Risking more in sharing the Gospel message than others may think is safe, having a Vision bigger than what others may think is practical, and expecting God to do more (because of His promises) than others think is possible. Coming up Saturday, April 10, 2010 is a day that our Partners and Members look forward to all year. It's Living Water Ranch's opportunity to pamper and spoil those who have given to the ministry over the past year. Alan, Donna and their staff prepare and plan for this event all year so it's not to be missed!! Always the Word of God is first and foremost with times of teaching and sharing about what God is doing in the ministry. There is time for fellowship, a type of homecoming because many live distances away in other states. As always the food is fantastic and usually and event in itself! For those who are already Partners and Members, be getting your reservations in! If you are not currently a Partner/Member of Living Water Ranch, Inc., please contact us about how you can help the Ministry of LWR and reach people for the Lord! May 10, 11 & 12, 2010
Living Water Ranch is hosting our 8th annual special Minister's Appreciation Retreat, May 10 - 12, 2010. We will begin with the evening meal on Monday and conclude sometime Wednesday morning.
The purpose of the Minister's Appreciation Retreat is to pamper those committed people that serve the Lord in full time ministry. This can be those serving as missionaries, Youth or Children's ministers, pastors and other types of full time ministry positions.
There is always time for fellowship, recreation, great food, praying together, and sharing what the Lord is doing in the lives of the ministers. There are several who make attending this Minister's Retreat a must each year. We look forward to seeing our returning ministers each year as well as welcoming first timers!
If you enjoy the outdoors this is also a great time to check out Rapid Fire Outdoor Adventures (RFOA), a division of Living Water Ranch. You are welcome to check out the RFOA link for more information, The link is in the menu on the left of this page.
Each year this is an opportunity to unite hearts in love and helping to fulfill the Word in:
Psalms 133: "How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore."
1 Corinthians 12:27: "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." (NIV Bible)
Come relax in the beauty God has created in the Flint Hills!
