Rapid Fire Outdoor Adventures Now Hosting T.R.A.C.

Mike and Lisa Irvin attended a week long training session in July to become affiliated with T.R.A.C. (Teen Outreach Adventure Camp) which allows LWR/RFOA to host camps beginning in 2010.
T.R.A.C. is a concept that closely resembles Royal Family Kids' Camps. It is endorsed by Royal Family Kids' Camps, Inc., out of Santa, Ana, CA. It offers R.F.K.C. graduates and other foster kids a camp they can go to between the ages of 12 to 15. Like RFKC, T.R.A.C. serves kids from the state foster system that due to behavioral problems and medications are not able to go to most other summer camps.
This is quite an opportunity that allows everyone associated with Living Water Ranch and Rapid Fire Outdoor Adventures to touch the life of a teenager and make a difference in a young man’s and/or young woman’s life. The 3-day camps are single gender camps with the purpose of encouraging these kids to work as a team, trust each other and the counselors and understand their incredible value! Can 3 Days make a Difference? Absolutley! To visit the T.R.A.C. website follow this link http://tracinternational.org or http://www.teenreachadventurecamp.org
We will be posting more information about T.R.A.C. in the coming months, but right now we can use your help. Every camper that attends camp, does so at no charge to the camper or their foster family. That means we have a great deal of work to do before next season to raise the funds necessary to make the camps one of the most memorable for each teen attending.
Here’s how you can help. We are looking for individuals, families, businesses, churches, civic organizations, etc., that may be interested in investing in the life of a teen. If you would pass this information along to anyone you know in any of the above categories and ask them to contact Mike and Lisa Irvin at 785-468-3594 or 785-468-0060 or by email at lwrrfoa@gmail.com we would really appreciate it. We estimate that it will cost approximately $500.00 per camper. At this point we are still working with Tim and Serena Howell, founders of T.R.A.C. to determine the number of campers we will host our first season.
If you would personally like to make a donation to help provide a life-changing experience for a teen, please feel free to do so. Donations in full or in part can be mailed to: Living Water Ranch/RFOA, Attn: TRAC, 4122 Living Water Road, Olsburg, KS 66520. We can also take you donation by credit card by calling 785-468-3594. Lisa or Donna will be able to assist you when you call.
Thank you in advance and please check back for updates!

Children's Camps:

2010 Living Water Ranch Children's Camp.
The 2010 LWR Children's Camp was held June 14-16. The three day, two night camp is designed for children ages 7-11 years old. This year's theme was "Jesus In Me".
The 10 boys and girls that attended camp were treated to a camp full of rain and soggy ground, but the afternoons were beautiful.
Each day we had chapel in the morning and evening which are designed to draw children into a relationship with Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Each chapel built on the next and activities were geared toward reinforcing the lessons learned during Chapel Time.
We had plenty of time for fun activities, crafts, swimming, waterslide, disc golf and more. One of the campers had the pleasure of pushing our Camp Director into the swimming pool. A planned activity, everyone enjoyed seeing the Director making efforts to not end up in the water!
Our goal was to build on the strong foundations that are already part of a child's life and for unchurched children, give them the basics they need to begin a lifelong relationship with Jesus as the center of their life.
LWR Children's Camp is a great alternative for churches to use as their VBS program or in addition to existing programs to help reinforce what the children learn on a weekly basis.
You can see more pictures from Children's Camp on the Photos Around LWR/RFOA page.

It really is that much fun on our guided ATV trail rides!

We shoot Clay Targets year round, regardless of the weather!
