Annual Partner/Member Weekend
Our Annual Partner/Member Weekend is planned for April 9 - 11, 2010. This is a time for the staff of Living Water Ranch to pamper and spoil the people who monetarily support the ministry of LWR/RFOA. This is a time for fellowship and catching up with friends, relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the Flint Hills in the spring and of course, eating way too much of the delicious meals provided for you.
The weekend is complimentary to our Partners/Members and is our way of saying "Thank you." to those faithful folks that help make LWR possible.
For more details about becoming a Partner/Member please click on the "How You Can Help" link. A ministry such as ours can never have too many Partners! Please consider LWR/RFOA in your charitable giving.
2010 8th Annual Minister's Appreciation Retreat
Living Water Ranch is hosting our 8th annual special Minister's Appreciation Retreat, May 10 - 12, 2010. We will begin with the evening meal on Monday and conclude sometime Wednesday morning.
The purpose of the Minister's Appreciation Retreat is to pamper those committed people that serve the Lord in full time ministry. This can be those serving as missionaries, Youth or Children's ministers, pastors and other types of full time ministry positions.
There is always time for fellowship, recreation, great food, praying together, and sharing what the Lord is doing in the lives of the ministers. There are several who make attending this Minister's Retreat a must each year. We look forward to seeing our returning ministers each year as well as welcoming first timers!
If you enjoy the outdoors this is also a great time to check out Rapid Fire Outdoor Adventures (RFOA), a division of Living Water Ranch. You are welcome to check out the RFOA link for more information, The link is in the menu on the left of this page.
Each year this is an opportunity to unite hearts in love and helping to fulfill the Word in:
Psalms 133: "How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore."
1 Corinthians 12:27: "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." (NIV Bible)
Come relax in the beauty God has created in the Flint Hills!

Children's Camps:

2010 Living Water Ranch Children's Camp.
The 2010 LWR Children's Camp was held June 14-16. The three day, two night camp is designed for children ages 7-11 years old. This year's theme was "Jesus In Me".
The 10 boys and girls that attended camp were treated to a camp full of rain and soggy ground, but the afternoons were beautiful.
Each day we had chapel in the morning and evening which are designed to draw children into a relationship with Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Each chapel built on the next and activities were geared toward reinforcing the lessons learned during Chapel Time.
We had plenty of time for fun activities, crafts, swimming, waterslide, disc golf and more. One of the campers had the pleasure of pushing our Camp Director into the swimming pool. A planned activity, everyone enjoyed seeing the Director making efforts to not end up in the water!
Our goal was to build on the strong foundations that are already part of a child's life and for unchurched children, give them the basics they need to begin a lifelong relationship with Jesus as the center of their life.
LWR Children's Camp is a great alternative for churches to use as their VBS program or in addition to existing programs to help reinforce what the children learn on a weekly basis.
You can see more pictures from Children's Camp on the Photos Around LWR/RFOA page.
